Gemlik Gübre Sanayi A.Ş., a subsidiary of YILFERT Holding was established as a state-owned enterprise in 1973. Gemlik Gübre was joined the YILDIRIM family through privatization by YILDIRIM GROUP in 2004. Following this investment, the company has become one of the greatest fertilizer producers in Turkey.

Currently, Gemlik Gübre owns the significant portion of the foreign market with over 1.000 distributors and cooperative stores throughout Turkey.As Turkey's largest CAN fertilizer and ammonia producer, GEMLIK GUBRE maintains its production and import and export activities to increase efficiency in the agricultural sector. Gemlik Gübre, which aims to meet all the fertilizer needs of its customers, has a production capacity of approximately 1.330.000 tons.

Gemlik Gübre achieves these goals by importing fertilizer in the range of 750.000 – 950.000 tons, and its well-protected warehouses with a total storage capacity of 1.000.000 tons in strategic points of Turkey (Gemlik - Hatay - Mersin - Izmir - Samsun - Tekirdağ).
